HR System Manager, NG Nordic
NG Nordic is a leading Nordic provider of circular solutions and environmental services. By transforming waste into valuable resources and removing hazardous substances from circulation, we are avoiding emissions, protecting natural ecosystems, and scaling access to circular materials.
NG Nordic is a vital part of the Nordic industrial infrastructure, generating EUR 1.3 billion in revenue with a team of about 3,400 employees and 90 sites.
Imagine a world without waste
Every year, we humans use almost twice as many raw materials as our Earth can produce. In the long term, this will have serious consequences. At NG Nordic, we work to create solutions where what you use doesn’t end up as waste but can instead be reused.
To reach this goal, we’ve developed world-leading collection and recycling technology. We create solutions that allow what you no longer need to be transformed into raw materials for completely new products.
We don’t think “use and throw away” – we think “use, and use AGAIN.”
Meet our technology environment
Following our merger with Fortum Recycling & Waste, NG Nordic is now the largest recycling and environmental services company in the Nordics. We have ambitious growth plans in our strategy. Our IT unit is in high-growth mode, building and further developing our capabilities.
In this consolidation phase, we’re looking for an HR System Manager who can take full ownership of our group's HR system architecture. In this independent yet collaborative role, you will be responsible for the entire HR systems domain, serving as the key expert and driving force behind its development.
You would begin by assessing with business how our current HR systems meet both our present and future needs, and by planning the necessary actions to move forward. At the moment, we have some country-specific systems in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, but we prefer unified, group-wide systems wherever possible.
You’ll be part of a team of experienced and friendly IT applications professionals, led by Maria Siilmaa.
You can work either at our headquarters in Keilaniemi, Espoo, or flexibly from your home office. We aim to meet at the office twice per week, with flexibility. Our Group HR is based in Norway, so there will be occasional travel to meet them in Oslo.
