We are looking for a Technical Project Manager, detail design to join our Design Management team.

You will be part of our project leadership team, and steer the shipbuilding detail design process. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of Lead Designers in a matrix organization, collaborate with the customer, partners and classification societies, and communicate with the leadership team. You oversee the detail design process from the beginning until the end and make sure that the production has all information and materials needed for building the end product. You will report to the Project Manager, who looks at the bigger picture and all aspects of the project.

Your project based team consists of Lead Designers from different departments; hull design, machinery design, interior design, HVAC design, electricity etc.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in:

• Shipbuilding and understanding of the detail design process and shipyard building methods
• 3D design work in an integrated design environment and the ability to understand and produce detail design documents
• Leading people in a matrix organization
• Collaborating with authorities and classification societies

Experience in procurement is highly appreciated. Fluent English is necessary as we have international clients and suppliers.
